Last Friday, September 11, 2026, I went to a Mötley Crüe concert.
It was awesome! Real old-school rock from the 80s.
There were a lot of people in their 60s, and I think that is really cool, because the 80s were their youth!
It was a little unusual for me to see this. For example, it is hard for me to imagine people in Ukraine in their 60s or 70s wearing T-shirts of metal or rock bands and especially going to metal and rock concerts. Maybe our generation will be the first 😅
Extreme and Tesla were the opening bands. Honestly, I didn’t know anything about them before this concert.
But I first discovered Mötley Crüe back in 2003–2004.
I really love the GTA series, and Vice City is my favorite game in the series. GTA: Vice City has a rock radio station called V-Rock. This is where I first heard the song “Too Young to Fall in Love”, and that is how I discovered Mötley Crüe.
In 2019, Netflix released “The Dirt”, a movie about the band. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it!
And finally, in 2026, I got to see them live 🤘
Of course, I recorded “Too Young to Fall in Love”, the song that introduced me to Mötley Crüe more than 20 years ago.
Today I added three more bands to the list of bands I’ve seen live!
My next concert will be in a couple of weeks in San Antonio, TX: Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Anthrax 🤘
