Muse concert in Austin

Last Saturday, my wife and I went to a Muse concert in Austin.

There were two opening bands: The Temper Trap and Portugal. The Man.

The concert was at Germania Insurance Amphitheater, at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), where the Formula 1 race takes place.

The most interesting thing was that the first two bands sounded noticeably better than Muse. Usually, it is the other way around — at least, that’s what I noticed at other concerts I’ve been to.

I’m not a big Muse fan. I listened to them a little during my university years, but my wife really likes the band. Still, I’m glad I went to the concert — it was really cool.
