A couple of weeks ago, Tarja Turunen and Apocalyptica released a music video for their song “Tango”!
And it’s absolutely awesome! 🤘🔥
I’ve been listening to Nightwish and Apocalyptica since my school days, so seeing them together after all these years is something special!
And speaking of Tarja, this reminded me of another collaboration I used to dream about back in school.
I remember thinking how cool it would be if Tarja Turunen performed together with Valery Kipelov. Back then, I was a big fan of Aria, which was one of the first rock bands I got into.
And guess what? Tarja and Kipelov actually performed together in 2011!
That was awesome! Later, in 2013, I even went to a Kipelov concert in Kyiv.
Unfortunately, Aria, Kipelov, and many other Russian rock bands eventually showed their true colors. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
To hell with them…
Anyway, enough about that. Let’s get back to Tarja and Apocalyptica!
What an amazing song and music video!
After all these years, they finally did it — recorded a song together and made a music video!
Enjoy!
