This Halloween, Rostyslav spent almost the entire day in the garage working on his homemade car!
For this project, we used an old scooter, a skateboard, and a sled.
At first, Rostyslav wanted to use just the skateboard, but then he decided that his car needed a way to steer.
My wife and Rostyslav came up with the idea of using an old scooter!
We removed the rear wheel from the scooter and one pair of wheels from the skateboard. Then we drilled four holes and connected the scooter and skateboard using bolts and nuts.
Rostyslav also used plenty of tape to securely attach the sled to the frame.
And just like that, our homemade car was ready for its first test drive! 😎
But we didn’t stop there!
We added two red lights at the back and a flashlight in the center at the front so Rostyslav could ride his car after dark.
Of course, we had to test it at night!
Rostyslav is still working on improving his car.
Looks like this project is far from finished! 😅
